1. About this policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data the BrainGames app (the “App”) collects, why, and who receives it. By using the App, you agree to this policy.

2. No account, no personal contact data

The App works without registration. We do not ask for your name, email address or phone number, we do not use your precise location, and we do not access your photos or contacts.

3. Data stored only on your device

Your profile (age group, goals, focus areas, text size), your game results, your streak and your reminder settings are stored only on your device. We use them to build your daily workout, adjust game difficulty and show your progress.

4. Usage analytics – Mixpanel (EU servers)

To understand how the App is used and to improve it, the App sends usage events to Mixpanel: screens opened, games played and their scores, daily workout progress, paywall views and purchase results, your onboarding answers (age group, goals, focus areas), app version, language, text size, device model, iOS version and technical error codes.

These events are linked to a random identifier created by the App when it is installed. This identifier is not your name or your Apple Account. Mixpanel also receives your IP address and uses it to estimate your approximate location (country and city). Mixpanel stores this data on servers in the European Union.

5. Subscriptions – Adapty

Purchases are processed by Apple. To check and restore your subscription, the App uses Adapty. Adapty receives your purchase history and App Store receipts, an Adapty profile identifier, your device’s identifier for vendor (IDFV) and your IP address. Adapty links subscription events (such as trials, renewals and refunds) to the same random analytics identifier, so we can measure how the subscription works.

6. Who receives your data

Mixpanel (usage analytics, EU servers) and Adapty (subscription purchase and validation). Apple processes payments under its own terms. Nobody else receives data from the App.

7. No ads, no tracking

The App shows no ads. We do not use the advertising identifier (IDFA), we do not ask for permission to track you, and we do not sell or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

8. Reminders

If you turn on reminders, the App schedules local notifications on your device. No notification data is sent to us or to anyone else. You can turn reminders off in the App settings or in your iPhone settings.

9. How long we keep data

We keep analytics data only as long as we need it to improve the App. Adapty keeps purchase records as long as they are needed to provide and restore your subscription and as required by law.

10. Your choices and rights

Delete my data (in the App settings) erases everything stored on your device: your profile, game history, streak, reminders and scheduled notifications, and starts analytics under a new random identifier, so new events are not connected to the erased ones. A few technical settings that do not identify you are kept (for example, cached subscription status).

Events that were already sent remain on Mixpanel’s servers under the old identifier. To have them deleted, or to ask what data we process about you, write to [email protected].

Your subscription is not affected: it belongs to your Apple Account. You can cancel it in your Apple Account settings and restore purchases in the App.

11. Data security

All network requests use HTTPS, so data is encrypted in transit.

12. Children

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
